Discover the Arts. Unlock the ancient wisdom. Transform Your Practice
Saturday – Ba Fa Wu Bu (8 Methods & 5 Steps) of Tai Chi Essence
Ba Fa Wu Bu, meaning “Eight Methods and Five Steps”, distills the heart of Tai Chi into a compact, powerful routine. Rooted in Yang Style, it combines eight fundamental hand techniques—Peng (Ward Off), Lu (Rollback), Ji (Press), An (Push), Cai (Pluck), Lie (Split), Zhou (Elbow), and Kao (Shoulder)—with five essential footwork directions—Advance, Retreat, Look Left, Look Right, and Central Equilibrium. Through practising Ba Fa Wu Bu, learners gain a deeper understanding of internal energy (Jin) and body mechanics, refining balance, precision, and efficiency.
Sunday – Health Qigong Five Animal Frolics
Master Faye introduces the timeless practice of Wu Qin Xi (Five Animal Frolics)—awakening vitality, sharpening mobility, and harmonizing mind‑body energy through this ancient, animal‑inspired Qigong routine.
Created nearly 2,000 years ago, Wu Qin Xi is one of the oldest medical Qigong systems. By embodying the spirit of the Tiger, Deer, Bear, Monkey, and Crane, practitioners cultivate strength, flexibility, balance, and inner calm. Each animal form is linked to a specific organ system in Traditional Chinese Medicine, making Wu Qin Xi a holistic practice for health and longevity
